Arts Menagers The Arts Menagers, was a public exhibition that provided the French with information about all aspects of domestic management, furnishing, and decoration. In this humorous series the artist creates a charming robotic house helper to promote interested in the event. Francis Bernard was one of the members of the Union des Artistes Modernes (UAM), a trade group founded in 1925, which also included other well known artists such as Cassandre and Jean Carlu.
