The Press - Women's Edition Thanksgiving Eve, Nov 27th, 1895
Rare early vintage poster by Marianna Sloan, the younger sister of the well known painter John Sloan. It is unusual to find a posters by a women artists and this is especially interesting as the poster was for a special edition of the magazine directed towards women.This beautiful woodblock is the only known poster by Marianna Sloan, who worked primarily in watercolors.
